Air transport

In this section you can estimate the carbon dioxide emissions from air transport based on the weight of the goods and the average distance they are transported. The calculation of CO2 emissions is based on the distance flown.

Transport distance refers to the distance over which the shipment was loaded in the aircraft. Calculate the sums of goods transported according the average haul distance and enter the amount in the fields below. Also estimate the average transport distance of the shipments.
